CollegeDekho has introduced SaarthiGPT, an ArtificiaI Intelligence (AI)-powered engine designed to revolutionise the college discovery process. This tool provides students with real-time personalised guidance on courses, colleges, admissions and exams using advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP). Trained on over half-a-billion data points, SaarthiGPT aims to save students significant time by offering reliable and accurate information in a single platform, minimising the need to search across multiple sources.
This AI solution is tailored to address the challenges faced by students navigating India’s complex higher education landscape. Initially available in six Indian languages, SaarthiGPT will soon expand to 22 languages, ensuring accessibility for students across the country. The platform will empower students by providing guidance on entrance exams, admission frameworks, college rankings, course insights, scholarships and career prospects—key areas of concern for millions of students seeking higher education options.
Ruchir Arora, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CollegeDekho, said that SaarthiGPT will democratise access to expert guidance for students across India, helping to bridge the gap in information access for those in smaller towns. Arora believes the tool could boost India’s Gross Enrollment Ratio and improve student outcomes.
SaarthiGPT’s AI engine offers a tailored experience that includes detailed information on over 350 exams and 35,000 colleges. It also addresses concerns like category-specific admission processes, financial aid and campus facilities.
