Bodhi Tree Multimedia posts strong annual growth

Bodhi Tree Multimedia has reported a strong financial performance for FY26, driven by growth in content production, expanding platform partnerships and strategic investments aimed at strengthening its position in the media and entertainment industry.

The company recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 118.45 crore during the financial year, marking a growth of 31.96 per cent over the previous year. Profit After Tax (PAT) rose 61.59 per cent year-on-year to Rs 7.95 crore, while EBITDA increased to Rs 17.10 crore from Rs 9.69 crore in FY25. EBITDA margin also improved to 14.44 per cent compared with 10.80 per cent in the previous fiscal.

During the year, Bodhi Tree Multimedia produced around 200 hours of original content across television, OTT and digital platforms. The company also executed content projects for leading broadcasters and streaming platforms, including JioStar, Zee, Dangal and Shemaroo.

On the strategic front, the company expanded its footprint through acquisitions, acquiring a 20 per cent stake in Lehren Networks and completing the acquisition of a 50.01 per cent stake in Moving Image Studios. The moves are expected to strengthen its content capabilities and support long-term growth plans.

Commenting on the results, Mautik Tolia, Managing Director & CEO, said, “FY26 has been a year of strong forward movement for Bodhi Tree as we continue to shape a more scalable and future-ready content business. Our consolidated income grew to Rs 118.45 crore, PAT rose to Rs 7.95 crore, and EBITDA margins expanded meaningfully, reflecting the operating leverage we are beginning to build as we scale.”

He added, “India’s M&E market is on a strong growth trajectory, projected to reach around USD 38 billion by 2028. With over 975 million OTT viewers and regional content driving more than half of paid viewership, the demand environment for quality Indian IP has never been stronger, and that is precisely the space we are building into. Our focus remains on disciplined IP-led content creation, developing stories that are designed to travel across formats, platforms and markets.”

Tolia further noted that the company’s investments in technology and AI-led initiatives are helping improve decision-making, accelerate production timelines and strengthen content ownership strategies. He said the acquisitions of Lehren Networks and Moving Image Studios have further reinforced the company’s growth foundation and provide confidence for the future.

With increasing demand for original Indian content across television and digital platforms, Bodhi Tree Multimedia remains focused on building a scalable IP-led content business while creating long-term value through strategic investments and innovation.
