Ixigo deepens collaboration with PhonePe, now includes exclusive flight and bus bookings

The partnership will let users book flights, buses and trains on the PhonePe app itself

Ixigo has announced the expansion of its exclusive partnership with PhonePe. Initially, the partnership covered train bookings and will now include flight and bus bookings on the PhonePe app, all powered by ixigo, AbhiBus and ConfirmTkt brands.

Over 54 crore PhonePe users now have access to a comprehensive range of travel booking options for flights, trains and buses, following this partnership. The users will be leveraged with exciting discounts and offers along with simplified payment processes on all types of travel bookings. 

Along with this, PhonePe users can enjoy advanced features and value-added services from the ixigo Group, including Ixigo Assured (Free Cancellation), ixigo Assured Flex and Abhi Assured, that offer fully flexible and freely reschedulable tickets with instant refunds upon cancellation.

Aloke Bajpai, Group CEO, Ixigo, and Rajnish Kumar, Group Co-CEO, Ixigo, stated, “We are thrilled to expand our partnership with PhonePe to bring our travel booking services to their extensive user base. This collaboration will particularly benefit travellers from tier-II and tier- III  cities. 

They further shared their aim to make travel bookings more accessible, affordable and convenient for millions of Indians.

Sameer Nigam, Founder and CEO, PhonePe, also commented on this association. He said, “We are excited to partner with the ixigo Group for flight, train and bus booking options on PhonePe. With rising disposable incomes and the growing aspirations of Indian travellers, we are seeing rapid adoption of our travel offerings.”
