Unacademy has launched its language learning app in India. The app initially offers Spanish to learners. Gaurav Munjal, Co-founder and CEO, Unacademy, said the app will soon add French, German, and Indian languages as well.

The app allows users to embark on their language learning journey, offering free templates that gamify the learning process. It guides users in choosing Spanish words to complete sentences and matches those with their English counterparts. It also provides language facts to enhance comprehension. Once users have a basic understanding, they can practice communicating in Spanish in everyday situations, making the learning process interactive and fun.

Munjal, in a post on social media platform X, wrote, “Unacademy Language Learning App is now Live. It’s our first truly Global Product. While all other Apps focus on too much Gamification, we built an App that actually makes you learn a Language. You can learn Spanish to begin with.”

The users after utilising the free access, will be required to buy the pro subscription, which is priced at Rs 4,999 annually or Rs 790 monthly.

Unacademy was founded by Gaurav Munjal, Hemesh Singh and Roman Saini in 2015.
