Libas unveils ‘Sawan Ke Rang’ campaign celebrating monsoon, culture and modern femininity

Libas has launched ‘Sawan Ke Rang’, a new monsoon campaign inspired by Indian poetry, classical art, and folklore, celebrating the season through themes of Prem, Shringar, and modern femininity.

Drawing from cultural interpretations of Sawan as a season of love, beauty, longing, and renewal, the campaign reimagines these timeless themes through a contemporary lens. It positions traditional Indian wear as a reflection of identity, confidence, and self-expression.

Inspired by literary works such as Kalidasa’s Ritusamhara, the campaign features rain-soaked forests, lotus ponds, and lush monsoon landscapes, complemented by cultural motifs including peacocks, swans, and blooming lotuses to evoke feminine imagery.

Commenting on the campaign, Nisha Khatri, Head of Marketing, Libas, said, With Sawan Ke Rang, we wanted to celebrate the monsoon not just as a season, but as one of India’s most beautiful cultural emotions. At Libas, we are constantly looking at how Indian wear can be made more modern, more expressive and more relevant to the everyday lives of women. Sawan has always stood for Prem, Shringar, beauty, longing and renewal, and this campaign reimagines that timeless narrative through a contemporary lens. As India’s leading ultra-fast fashion brand, our strength lies in responding to trends with speed, but our storytelling is rooted in culture. Sawan Ke Rang brings both together, a campaign that celebrates Indian aesthetics, modern femininity, and every shade of self-expression.”

Conceptualised by Libas’ in-house creative team, the multi-part digital campaign is being rolled out across reels, films, carousels, and stories. It is structured around two themes – Prem, representing romance, companionship, and self-love, and Shringar, highlighting beauty and adornment as expressions of individuality and confidence. Different colour palettes, including white, yellow, red, and green, reflect the moods and emotions associated with the monsoon season.
