Centrum, Haleon’s multivitamin brand, has introduced its ‘Knowtrition’ campaign to encourage consumers to take a more informed and proactive approach to everyday nutrition and wellbeing.
The initiative focuses on helping people recognise the potential connection between common concerns such as fatigue, low energy, weakened immunity, muscle weakness and brittle nails and underlying micronutrient deficiencies that may otherwise go unnoticed.
As part of the campaign, Centrum has established dedicated Knowtrition kiosks across multiple cities, where consumers can access indicative insights into their micronutrient status through Vitastiq, a non-invasive screening tool.
The assessment provides an indicative view of potential gaps across essential vitamins and minerals and also shares information about their natural dietary sources. This is intended to help consumers develop a better understanding of the role micronutrients play in supporting everyday health and normal body functions.
Consumers visiting the kiosks can also interact with qualified nutritionists and health experts, who help explain the assessment results and provide guidance around individual nutritional requirements. The initiative encourages consumers to use these insights to make more informed dietary and lifestyle choices.
Deepali Agarwal, Head – Wellness & OTC, Haleon ISC, said that micronutrient deficiencies should not become a barrier to India’s progress and emphasised the importance of building greater health awareness among consumers.
She added that people may not always receive sufficient levels of essential vitamins and minerals through their regular diets, making it important to understand individual nutritional needs. Through Knowtrition, Centrum aims to bring expert guidance closer to consumers and help convert health information into practical action.
Beyond the screening exercise, the kiosks are designed as consumer education platforms, using interactive experiences and expert-led conversations to explain the relevance of micronutrients, multivitamins and nutraceuticals in everyday health.
The initiative particularly focuses on improving awareness around the role nutrition can play in areas such as energy, immunity and overall body function, while encouraging consumers to make informed choices about their health.
Centrum has also clarified that the Vitastiq assessment provides indicative nutritional information and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. Consumers experiencing specific symptoms, health concerns or medical conditions are encouraged to seek appropriate guidance from qualified healthcare professionals.
Through Knowtrition, Centrum aims to bridge gaps in nutrition and health literacy by making personalised nutrition insights and expert guidance more accessible to consumers.
The campaign forms part of Haleon’s broader focus on advancing health literacy and helping people take greater ownership of their everyday wellbeing. By moving consumers from simply recognising health concerns to understanding their nutritional needs, Centrum seeks to encourage a more informed and proactive approach to personal health.
