Netcore has powered the Government of India’s Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign through Rich Communication Services (RCS), in collaboration with Google and Jio, enabling the nationwide initiative to engage citizens through interactive mobile messaging.
The campaign, organised around India’s Independence Day celebrations on August 15, extended the Har Ghar Tiranga movement by encouraging citizens to participate in the national flag-hoisting initiative from their homes.
Using RCS as its primary communication channel, the campaign delivered more than 100 million messages a day to citizens across the country. The interactive format encouraged users to participate through flag-hoisting information, celebratory selfie uploads and Instagram Story sharing.
The campaign recorded a 35 per cent read rate, highlighting the engagement generated through rich and verified messaging delivered directly through users’ native messaging applications. It also drove more than one million clicks across the campaign’s participation-focused actions.
The initiative brought together Netcore’s messaging and engagement infrastructure, Google’s RCS capabilities and Jio’s extensive network and subscriber reach. The collaboration enabled the government-led campaign to operate at nationwide scale while retaining an interactive and personalised communication experience.
Girish Chaturvedi, Chief Business Officer – cPaaS, Netcore, said the campaign demonstrated the potential of RCS to connect with more than 100 million citizens through a verified and interactive experience while converting outreach into meaningful participation.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 highlights the growing role of rich messaging in large-scale public communication, particularly for campaigns that require broad reach combined with direct citizen engagement. The initiative also demonstrates how technology partnerships can help translate nationwide digital outreach into measurable participation.
