B2B Market Media | The Founder Media organised the fourth edition of World Education & Business Conclave & Awards (WEBCon) 2025 on 19th March in Chandigarh. Under the theme “The Intersection of Technology, Innovation and Business in the Future of Higher Education,” WEBCon 2025 gathered leaders from the education industry comprising Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, Directors, Presidents and EdTech companies to discuss the future of education, and to cope with the dynamic challenges in the system. Comprising more than 100 participants, the conclave saw engaging discussions and a collective vision for improved and more tech-focussed student-centric education.
The day began with the lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Dr. Sandeep Singh Kaura, Advisor, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India and Chancellor, Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab; Dr. Jatinder Pal Singh, Deputy Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Punjab; Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna, Vice Chancellor, Chandigarh University; Prof. (Dr.) Parvinder Singh, Vice Chancellor, LTSU Punjab, Dr. Anupam Gupta and Dr. Ashish Srivastava, Co-Founders and Directors, B2B Market Media | The Founder Media.
Following the lamplighting, the inaugural session titled, “Government Interventions: Necessary Steps for Growth and Quality of Education,” was graced by Dr. Kaura. Addressing the audience, he stressed that degree is like a passport and skill is like a visa; without skills, it is of no importance.
Keeping Vision 2020 in mind, he further said, “We must skill 500 million graduates in India to make it a global power as envisioned by Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a ministry was crafted out as the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship–in 2015 to chalk out various plans to bring skill education in India.”

Raman University; Sunil Rai, President, UPES; Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Dean, Faculty of Education and Social Science, Rayat Bahra University; Dr. Srivastava, Dr. Gupta and Mohd Ujaley, Consulting Editor, B2B Market Media | The Founder Media. The magazine captures the journeys of visionary leaders in the education sector who drive change with passion, resilience and purpose. It also explores the transformative role of creativity, technology and collaboration in breaking barriers, unlocking opportunities and inspiring growth.
Following the magazine launch, the conclave saw a technical presentation by Debi Prasad Baral, Co-Founder and CTO, Leo1. Another presentation was given by Ashish Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Fretbox on “Hostel Management for Indian Universities.”
The first panel discussion at WEBCon 2025 was on “The Future of Hybrid Learning: Navigating the Shift from Traditional to Digital Education.” The panel was moderated by Dr. Bhalla. The fellow panellists were Prof. (Dr.) Manna; Dr. Dharm Bir Singh, Vice Chancellor, Haridwar University; Prof. (Dr.) Parvinder Singh, Vice Chancellor, Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) Punjab; Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Professor, Executive Director (CESM) and Senior Fellow of Jindal India Institute, O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) and Raavan Kataria, CEO, Aryans Group of Colleges.
The topic for the next panel discussion was “ AI-Powered Classrooms: Enhancing Teaching and Learning Experiences in Higher Education.” The moderator of this panel was Ujaley. The panellists included Dr Hemant Sharma, Vice Chancellor, GNA University; Ankur Gill, Director of Operations – Swami Vivekananda Group Of Institutions (SVGOI); Dr. Harpal Thethi, Executive Dean–Corporate Relations and Career Planning, Lovely Professional University; Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Dean Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, Rayat Bahra University.
The conclave then saw a technical presentation on “The Unique Community Revolution: Redefining Learning with Skill-Driven Education, Entrepreneurship and Earn-While-You-Learn” by the representatives of The Uniques Community.
The third panel saw the experts discussing “The Role of IoT, Big Data and Global Collaboration in Higher Education.” The panellists included Dr. Rajesh Pathak, President, Metro university; Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, CT University; Dr. Monika Sethi Sharma, Vice Chancellor, K.K. Modi University; Dr. Murari Lal Gaur, Vice Chancellor, Dr. C.V. Raman University and Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Pro Vice Chancellor, Future University Bareilly.
The fourth panel saw the panellists deliberating on “The Role of EdTech in Shaping the Future of Higher Education,” including Dr Sunil Rai, President, UPES; Vivek Malik, Associate Dean Innovation and Incubation, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee; Gursimran Singh Oberoi, Founder and MD, Institute of Professional Banking (IPB); Nand K. Yadav, Co-Founder, Edvice. The moderator for this session was Dr. Ripudaman Gaur, Dean, Lloyd Business School.
On the sidelines of WEBCon 2025, B2B Market Media | The Founder Media also hosted an exclusive Round Table on “Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Higher Education: Fostering Startups and Innovation.” The discussion brought together industry leaders and educators to explore how higher education can become a launchpad for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The day ended with the World Education and Business (WEB) Awards 2025 to celebrate excellence in the education sector.
