GyanDhan has officially named Aman Jain as its third Co-founder, recognising his long-standing contribution to the company’s growth and vision.
Jain now joins Ankit Mehra and Jainesh Sinha in GyanDhan’s founding leadership. An IIT Kanpur alumnus, Aman Jain was among the first hires at the company, joining even before the disbursal of its first education loan.
Since then, he has played a critical role in shaping GyanDhan’s marketing, brand positioning, and strategic outreach efforts.
Over the years, Jain has led initiatives that have helped GyanDhan become a trusted name in the education financing space.
From spearheading marketing campaigns to building a SaaS+ platform for study abroad consultants, his contributions have helped simplify and scale the student loan journey for thousands across the country. He also played a key role in expanding GyanDhan’s B2B ecosystem to over 30 cities.
Commenting on the elevation, Ankit Mehra, Co-founder and CEO of GyanDhan, said Aman’s leadership and deep alignment with the company’s mission made this recognition a natural step. Jainesh Sinha, Co-founder and COO, echoed the sentiment, noting that Aman has long embodied the values and drive of a founder, making the title a formal acknowledgment of his impact.
Reflecting on the announcement, Aman Jain expressed gratitude for the recognition and the journey he has shared with his co-founders. He highlighted the trust and shared purpose that have defined his experience at GyanDhan.
The announcement follows GyanDhan’s recent Rs 50 crore fundraise from Classplus and Pravega Ventures.
The capital will be used to scale its consultant network, enhance technology for a seamless financing experience, expand to over 50 Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, double its lending partnerships from 15 to 30 institutions, strengthen its tech and sales teams, and invest in student-focused initiatives like seminars and financial literacy workshops.
