Gordon Ramsay fronts Uber Eats’ Global World Cup campaign

Uber Eats has unveiled a new global campaign featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, taking an unexpected and humorous approach by encouraging football fans to stay out of the kitchen during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Titled Who Could Cook At A Time Like This?, the campaign portrays Ramsay as an outspoken advocate against home cooking, urging supporters to focus on the excitement of the tournament rather than meal preparation. The creative concept plays on the irony of one of the world’s most recognised chefs asking people not to cook.

The campaign is built around the insight that major sporting events often leave fans unwilling to miss key moments of the action. By positioning food delivery as a convenient alternative, Uber Eats aims to help viewers enjoy their favourite meals while remaining fully engaged with the matches.

Developed by creative agency Mother and directed by Jeff Low of Biscuit Filmworks, the campaign combines humour, entertainment, and Ramsay’s trademark intensity to create a memorable viewing experience. The initiative is being rolled out across 17 international markets and is supported by extensive social media activity.

Adding further relevance to the campaign, Ramsay shares a long-standing connection with football, having played youth-level football before injuries ended his sporting ambitions.

Through this campaign, Uber Eats reinforces its positioning as a convenient food delivery platform, offering fans an easy way to enjoy match day without interrupting the football experience.
