Encalm Hospitality has launched ‘A Taste of Independent India’, a week-long Independence Day campaign celebrating India’s regional cuisines across its airport lounges in Delhi, Hyderabad and Goa.
Running from August 8 to 15, the campaign is being hosted across Encalm Lounges and Privé, taking travellers through the cuisines of six regions of India before concluding with a specially curated Independence Day menu.
Built around the theme ‘One Nation. Six Regions. Countless Flavours.’, the campaign uses regional food and culinary traditions to highlight India’s cultural diversity.
Conceptualised by Encalm’s culinary team, the campaign features recipes, local ingredients and culinary traditions from North, South, East, West, Central and North-East India. Each regional menu is designed around the flavours and food traditions associated with its region.
The campaign also aims to transform the airport lounge experience by using food and storytelling to give travellers an opportunity to engage with India’s culinary heritage while in transit.
Chef Ritesh Negi, Head of Culinary, Encalm Hospitality, said the campaign was created to bring together the stories, flavours and traditions that represent India’s culinary landscape and offer travellers a meaningful experience around the Independence Day celebrations.
Through ‘A Taste of Independent India’, Encalm Hospitality is continuing its focus on themed experiences that connect Indian culture with the airport hospitality experience.
