AnyMind Group launches AI-powered platform to help Indian brands enter Japan

AnyMind Group has announced the launch of AnyAI OMO, an AI agent-powered platform aimed at helping brands bridge online marketing activity with offline retail sales performance, while supporting Indian businesses exploring expansion opportunities in Japan.

The company stated that the launch comes as increasing numbers of Indian brands across beauty, wellness, FMCG, lifestyle, and consumer products sectors look to establish a presence in Japan, one of Asia’s most advanced retail markets.

According to AnyMind Group, brands entering Japan often face challenges associated with fragmented online commerce ecosystems, offline retail distribution, local consumer behaviour, and in-store visibility.

Built on the company’s AI and data utilisation platform, AnyAI, the new solution enables brands to analyse online campaigns, social media engagement, in-store sales data, and retail activity to better understand online-to-offline sales performance and optimise decisions across inventory, promotions, store operations, and sales expansion strategies.

The company added that the platform integrates data from digital advertising, social media, offline promotions, and partnered retail sales channels. AI agents within the platform are designed to generate recommendations supporting retail proposals, in-store improvements, inventory replenishment, and sales channel growth.

AnyMind Group stated that the platform combines its technology infrastructure with the retail distribution network of Sun Smile to provide brands with a connected ecosystem that links digital demand generation with physical retail execution in Japan.

The company noted that unlike traditional dashboard-based tools focused only on data visualisation, AnyAI OMO is designed with an AI-native structure that supports analysis, recommendations, and execution workflows.

Commenting on the launch, Kosuke Sogo, CEO, AnyMind Group, said, “For many brands, the challenge is no longer simply having access to data, but knowing what action to take with the insights. AnyAI OMO is designed to help teams take faster, more precise action across campaigns, stores, shelves and inventory.”

He further added, “By combining AI agents with retail data and Sun Smile’s offline distribution expertise, we are partnering with brands to excite consumers through more integrated marketing and retail strategies.”

Aditya Aima, Managing Director, Growth Markets and Co-Managing Director, India and MENA, AnyMind Group, said, “We also see strong potential for Indian brands looking to expand into Japan. Through AnyAI OMO and AnyMind Group’s broader BPaaS ecosystem, brands can now better connect digital demand generation with offline retail execution, helping them enter and scale in the Japanese market with greater speed and visibility.”

AnyMind Group stated that it plans to expand AnyAI OMO beyond the beauty segment into additional consumer goods categories while further developing its AI agents to support autonomous recommendations for advertising budgets, inventory management, and promotional planning.
