White Rivers Media to drive digital growth for SMFG India credit

White Rivers Media (WRM) has partnered with SMFG India Credit to enhance the company’s digital outreach and customer engagement initiatives across the country.

As part of the association, White Rivers Media will lead SMFG India Credit’s digital strategy, focusing on building stronger online visibility, creating meaningful consumer engagement, and driving culturally relevant conversations across platforms. The collaboration aims to deepen the brand’s connect with diverse customer segments, including underserved and unserved communities.

With its expertise in data-led creativity, content strategy, and large-scale digital storytelling, WRM will work closely with SMFG India Credit to deliver consistent and impactful digital communication aligned with the company’s growth ambitions in India.

Shrenik Gandhi, Co-founder and CEO, White Rivers Media, said the partnership reflects a shared vision of using digital platforms to create more meaningful and accessible brand interactions. SMFG India Credit, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, has been operating in India since 2007. Along with its subsidiary SMFG Grihashakti, the company offers a broad portfolio of lending solutions, including SME finance, vehicle loans, home loans, personal loans, and rural-focused credit products, supported by a strong pan-India branch network.

The partnership underscores SMFG India Credit’s focus on scaling its digital capabilities as it continues to expand its footprint across India’s financial services landscape.
