Pocket Entertainment crosses $500 million ARR with AI-led growth

Pocket Entertainment has crossed $500 million in annualised revenue run rate, marking 70 per cent year-on-year growth. The company says the milestone reflects the continued expansion of Pocket FM and the increasing role of AI across its entertainment ecosystem.

Pocket FM remains the primary growth engine, with revenue retention rising from 44 per cent to 76 per cent, indicating stronger and more sustained listener engagement. The platform has also expanded into the UK, Germany and France, while broadening its content catalogue across genres such as thriller and fantasy.

The company has strengthened its content portfolio through strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with Disney Publishing APAC that introduced 36 Marvel audio series episodes in Hindi. Pocket FM has also launched user-generated content in the US, expanding the range of stories available to its audiences.

AI is playing a central role in Pocket Entertainment’s approach to content creation and scaling. Its creator ecosystem now includes more than 550,000 creators and generates more than 2.6 million annualised hours of content. The platform’s library has also grown to more than 770,000 titles across eight categories.

The company said AI-powered insights help identify stories that resonate with audiences and accelerate their expansion across markets. AI has reduced the time required to launch content in new markets from around 12 months to two months, enabling successful intellectual property to move more quickly across languages and geographies.

Pocket FM has also developed a growing portfolio of successful franchises, with 96 titles generating more than $1 million in revenue each, including 13 titles that have crossed $10 million.

Rohan Nayak, CEO and Co-Founder, Pocket Entertainment, said AI is creating a new era of entertainment by enabling more creators to develop high-quality content and allowing experiences to become increasingly personalised. He highlighted the potential for individual creators and smaller teams to develop stories that can reach global audiences.

Pocket FM listeners currently spend an average of 155 minutes a day on the platform, while 51 per cent of weekly active users engage with it daily.
