Pocket FM has launched a global campaign for Sherpa by Pocket FM, its AI-powered fiction-writing platform, across India and the United States, highlighting how AI can help creators develop complete fictional worlds rather than simply generate individual sentences.
The campaign spans San Francisco, Bengaluru and Mumbai, bringing the product proposition to life through film, social media, outdoor, print and an aerial activation. At its core, the campaign presents Sherpa as a creative companion designed to help writers turn initial ideas into complex, long-form stories.
Built around what Pocket FM calls Narrative Intelligence, Sherpa combines hierarchical story planning, long-term narrative memory and narrative prose generation. Its custom-trained proprietary models are designed to help creators develop stories spanning hundreds of episodes while maintaining continuity across characters, relationships, conflicts and storylines.
Pocket FM said Sherpa has contributed to a 75-fold increase in annualised content production to more than 2.5 million hours, alongside a tenfold rise in blockbuster titles. The platform’s development draws on Pocket FM’s ecosystem of more than 770,000 titles, 550,000 creators and 5.5 billion hours of audience playtime.
The centrepiece of the campaign is a satirical film featuring Pocket FM Co-founder Rohan Nayak alongside actor Chris Diamantopoulos. Diamantopoulos plays a fictional technology investor and Pocket FM board member who believes Sherpa could transform the world and potentially make him its first trillionaire.
Through humour, the film moves away from conventional technology advertising while introducing the challenge Sherpa is intended to address, helping creators develop an idea into a detailed and sustainable fictional universe.
The campaign extends into physical spaces as well. In the San Francisco Bay Area, an aircraft carrying the Pocket FM flag flew over the region, reflecting the company’s expanding international presence and the global ambition behind Sherpa.
In Bengaluru and Mumbai, outdoor and print executions use visual metaphors to communicate the platform’s proposition. One outdoor installation transforms a billboard into a snow-covered mountain featuring climbers and the line, “Writing stories is no more a climb.” The execution draws on Sherpa’s name to represent the scale and complexity involved in developing long-form fiction.
