Škoda Auto India launches ‘G.O.A.T’ campaign celebrating performance legacy

Škoda Auto India has launched its latest brand campaign, ‘G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track’, aimed at highlighting the company’s motorsport legacy, driving dynamics, and performance-oriented engineering philosophy.

The campaign redefines the popular acronym “G.O.A.T” from “Greatest of All Time” to “Greatest On A Track”, positioning Škoda vehicles around performance, precision, and safety. As part of the initiative, the company also introduced the phrase “S.O.A.T” or “Škoda On A Track”.

To launch the campaign, Škoda Auto India created a new India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records achievement for the “Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit” at the CoASTT track in Coimbatore. The relay involved models including the Škoda Kylaq, Škoda Kushaq, Škoda Slavia, Škoda Kodiaq, and Škoda Octavia RS.

According to the company, the campaign forms part of its broader differentiation strategy and focuses on delivering driving confidence, steering precision, chassis balance, and dynamic capability across its vehicle portfolio.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, said, “Every Škoda is engineered to deliver precision, control, and dynamism at the very edge of performance. For us, motorsport DNA isn’t a halo; it is inherent, and it comes standard across our entire range.”

He added, “This campaign is a natural extension of our strategy of democratising performance, ensuring that every Škoda, across segments, offers uncompromising dynamic capability, safety, and confidence that translates seamlessly into the real world.”

The campaign comes as Škoda Auto India continues to strengthen its presence in the Indian market through an expanding product portfolio and increasing focus on performance-led brand positioning.
