J.K. Shah Classes ties up with Jaro Education to expand online commerce learning

J.K. Shah Classes (JKSC), part of the Veranda Learning ecosystem, has entered into a partnership with Jaro Education to scale outcome-oriented commerce education through digital delivery across India. The collaboration aims to improve access to professional commerce programmes for students beyond metropolitan centres.

With more than four decades of experience, J.K. Shah Classes is a leading coaching institute for professional commerce qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA, CFA and ACCA. The institute educates over 50,000 students annually through a network of 111 centres and has produced more than 2,000 Chartered Accountancy rankers and 245 Company Secretary rankers.

Jaro Education, founded in 2009, works with Indian and international institutions to deliver accredited programmes through online and hybrid formats. The company supports academic partners with technology infrastructure and learner services to enable responsible scaling.

The partnership comes amid growing demand for qualified commerce professionals in India. According to estimates cited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the country may require close to 50 lakh Chartered Accountants by 2050, highlighting the need for wider access to professional education pathways.

As part of its Veranda 2.0 strategy, Veranda Learning has consolidated its commerce-focused institutions under a new entity, J.K. Shah Commerce Education. This includes brands such as J.K. Shah Classes, BB Virtuals, Navkar Digital Institute, Tapasya College of Commerce and Management, and Logic School of Management. The group is currently seeking regulatory approvals for a proposed demerger to create a focused platform for the commerce education segment.

Under the arrangement, Jaro Education will support the digital delivery and selective scale-up of J.K. Shah Classes’ programmes by providing technology platforms and learner support. This will allow the institute to extend ICAI- and ICSI-aligned courses to students in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Dr Sanjay Salunkhe, Founder and CMD, Jaro Education, said the collaboration brings together academic depth and scalable digital execution to strengthen India’s commerce education ecosystem, in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020.

Prof. J.K. Shah, Founder, J.K. Shah Classes, said the partnership enables the institution to translate its classroom-led academic approach into structured online formats while maintaining academic rigour and professional standards.
