Edvoy has unveiled a fully integrated app designed to replace the traditional agent-driven and paperwork-heavy admissions process with a single digital workflow. The platform unifies course search, documentation, counselling, accommodation and education finance, creating a comprehensive solution for international students.
The launch comes at a time when more than 1.8 million Indian students are expected to study abroad in 2025, yet many continue to navigate their journey through multiple agents, WhatsApp threads, bank portals and manually uploaded documents, which often fail compliance checks. Edvoy’s app consolidates the entire admissions process, offering multi-stage verification, real-time tracking, and access to over 75,000 courses across more than 750 universities.
The app draws on the experience of Sadiq Basha, Founder and CEO, Edvoy, who moved from Chennai to the United Kingdom as a first-generation international student. Having personally experienced challenges in the admissions process, including being mis-sold a university place, Basha founded Edvoy to provide a platform rooted in integrity and transparency, simplifying the application journey and offering reliable guidance at every stage.
Speaking on the launch, Sadiq Basha, Founder and CEO, Edvoy, said, “I have lived the challenges of studying abroad and know how stressful and confusing the journey can be. International education unlocks opportunities, but the process leading up to it should not feel overwhelming. We built this app to bring everything into one place and to guide students with clarity, transparency and faster responses. Our aim is to make studying abroad simpler and more accessible for every learner.”
The Edvoy app replaces the fragmented process that sees students move between agents, email threads, WhatsApp messages, bank portals and university websites. Through a single interface, students can explore courses, compare programmes, and complete 100 per cent paperless document uploads. All submitted documents undergo a multi-stage compliance review, detecting fraudulent activity and preparing students for CAS and integrity checks, now mandatory in key destinations. Real-time tracking ensures transparency throughout the application process.
A key feature of the platform is Genie, Edvoy’s AI-powered course matching tool. Genie evaluates academic history, English language scores, study gaps, budget and regional rules, categorises results into three tiers and provides a predictive score for admission likelihood. The app also offers Express Offers from select institutions within 24 hours, one-to-one counselling, instant chat with advisors, and video sessions that can be booked in under a minute.
The Edvoy app is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store, providing students, parents and counsellors access to the full suite of study abroad tools.
