Acadru, an EdTech platform based in Gurugram, has raised $0.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by AIG Direct LLC, along with contributions from a group of other investors.
With the new funding, Acadru plans to expand its market presence across India, while also developing new content pathways to enhance its offerings and support its mission of preparing students for the future through inter-disciplinary learning.
Designed to empower students with 21st-century skills, Acadru’s platform integrates project-based activities, mini modules and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered profile generation to help learners discover their passions, develop practical skills and showcase their accomplishments.
Acadru provides learners with resources such as background material, content flow ideas, project templates and source material linkages that facilitate research, analysis and evaluation. This project-centric approach helps students to strengthen their practical skills while providing educators with adaptable tools for modern educational goals.
Launched in 2016 by Abhishek Singhal and Kamini Vidisha, Acadru aims to enhance the learning experience for senior school and college students by offering a multi-disciplinary approach that emphasises skill development and personalised learning.
