Velocity has introduced Shipfast, a logistics solution designed to provide faster deliveries through brand-owned websites. With shipping options such as four-hour, same-day and next-day deliveries, Shipfast aims to enhance customer satisfaction while reducing operational challenges for brands.
To achieve this, Velocity has partnered with seven top logistics providers, including Delhivery, Shadowfax, Ekart and EcomExpress, ensuring extensive coverage across Indian cities.
Founded in 2020 by Abhiroop Medhekar, Atul Khichariya and Saurav Swaroop, the Bengaluru-based startup leverages data-driven insights and robust cash flows from D2C businesses to deliver its innovative solutions.
As D2C brands increasingly prioritise owning end-to-end customer journeys to avoid high commissions on quick-commerce platforms like Zepto, Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart, the need for improved shipping experiences has emerged. Delivery delays, tracking inaccuracies and slow issue resolution have been persistent pain points, often affecting customer loyalty.
To address these challenges, Shipfast optimises logistics workflows with its partners and integrates AI-powered early warnings to resolve delivery issues proactively. This minimises escalations and reduces operational costs for brands while ensuring seamless deliveries.
Since its inception, Velocity has served more than 5,000 customers and disbursed more than Rs 1,000 crore in working capital to over 1,200 e-commerce businesses.
Shipfast marks a pivotal moment in Velocity’s mission to drive growth and innovation in the D2C ecosystem, ensuring brands can deliver not just products, but exceptional customer experiences.
