Talentfarm.ai launches Global AI Academia Alliance

Talentfarm.ai, in association with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub (MATH) and various universities/colleges/institutes, have signed a tri-party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch the Global AI Academia Alliance.

Over 60 universities and colleges across the country are part of this alliance. The alliance aims to bring industry and academia together and nurture talent in Artificial Intelligence (AI) by problem-solving approach, conduct joint research activities, incubate student startups, exchange the best practices, and continuously engage to make India a global leader in AI.

As part of this initiative, a special portal MATH.TalentFarm.ai has been launched, with more than 150 mentors being onboarded by TalentFarm.

Speaking in this regard, Sharat Chandra, Founder, EmpowerEdge Ventures, said, “I am optimistic that this global alliance will be instrumental in positioning India as the global use case capital of AI and foster the AI innovation ecosystem in the country.”

More than 50 industry partners have come forward to share problem statements and challenges across agriculture, healthcare, finance, education and manufacturing, to name a few. In addition, the platform also provides content for curated learning.

Rajeev Ranjan Kumar, Head – GenAI Practice, WIPRO, said, “I appreciate this initiative of TalentFarm.ai and MATH. This will go a long way in solving the talent crunch in AI and emerging technologies that the industry is facing.”
