NetApp expands collaboration with Red Hat to revolutionise virtualized enterprise applications  

NetApp has expanded partnership with Red Hat to offer cutting-edge solutions designed to accelerate and simplify enterprise application development and management in virtualized and hybrid multicloud environments. By integrating NetApp’s intelligent data infrastructure with Red Hat OpenShift, the collaboration enables businesses to efficiently manage virtualized environments both on-premises and in the cloud.  

The partnership expands NetApp’s capabilities, providing customers with enhanced tools to reduce costs and improve the flexibility of managing Kubernetes containerized workloads and virtualized applications.  

The collaboration introduces new capabilities, including the latest version of Trident, NetApp’s container storage interface, which now offers integrated data protection, disaster recovery and migration tools at no additional cost. Additionally, NetApp unveiled validated designs for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and AI deployments on Cisco’s FlexPod infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance for modern workloads. Enterprises using Red Hat OpenShift Dedicated can also leverage NetApp Volumes on Google Cloud for persistent, enterprise-grade storage, simplifying the transition of containerized workloads to the cloud.
