Info Edge to invest Rs 15 crore in AgriTech firm Gramophone

Info Edge will invest Rs 15 crore in AgriTech startup Gramophone in two tranches over the next six months, according to an exchange filing on May 16.

According to Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Founder, Info Edge, the company is leading the funding round, in which other existing investors would also participate.

According to exchange filings, the first tranche of Rs 7.5 crore will be disbursed within the next 30 days, while the rest will be disbursed in six months, subject to certain conditions.

Gramophone is a full-stack AgriTech platform for farmers. In an omnichannel model, the company offers agricultural inputs to farmers directly as well as through local merchants.
