EaseMyTrip invests Rs 60 crore in The Wellness Co, acquiring 30 per cent stake

EaseMyTrip has invested Rs 60 crore to acquire a 30 per cent equity stake in Rollins International, the parent company of The Wellness Co. The investment is aimed at boosting The Wellness Co’s presence in the health and wellness tourism sector and expanding its reach across major urban areas in India and globally.

The Wellness Co offers an array of advanced health treatments, including whole-body cryotherapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, IV Drip Therapy, Red Light Therapy and Normatec Compression Therapy. With flagship centres in Gurugram, New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the company is now gearing up to expand into Kolkata, Pune and Chennai, while also eyeing international expansion into the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Rohan Jain, Co-Founder, The Wellness Co, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Our goal has consistently been to empower individuals to pursue healthier lifestyles through scientifically supported wellness solutions. With the strategic investment from EaseMyTrip, we can now integrate wellness with travel, capitalising on the burgeoning health tourism sector. This investment marks a significant move for EaseMyTrip as it diversifies into the medical and wellness tourism market. In a related development, the company also announced the acquisition of a 49 per cent equity stake in Pflege Home Healthcare for Rs 30 crore, further expanding its presence in the healthcare sector.
