Digii launches DigiiAI across schools

A survey by Digii has revealed that 97 per cent of educators are ready to integrate AI-based tools into their teaching methods. The survey, conducted across 500 educators from 22 prestigious institutions like Manipal Academy of Banking and Jain University, highlights the growing interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI’s) potential to transform education.

The findings show that 41 per cent of educators are already using AI, particularly for content creation (70 per cent), assessment generation (40.1 per cent) and attendance tracking (28.4 per cent). The remaining educators are either experimenting with AI tools (37 per cent) or have yet to integrate those into their teaching practices (21.6 per cent).

In response to this growing trend, Digii has launched a new tool called DigiiAI in over 20 educational institutions across India. This Generative (Gen) AI platform is designed to streamline repetitive administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, class scheduling and evaluation processes, allowing educators to focus more on enhancing learning outcomes. DigiiAI’s advanced AI capabilities enable teachers to automate time-consuming tasks, thereby making their teaching experience more effective and efficient.

Hemant Sahal, Founder and CEO, Digii, noted the promising enthusiasm from educators in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi and Hyderabad, where many are not only keen to adopt AI-based tools, but are also willing to undergo training to master their use. This embrace of AI by educators underscores the sector’s commitment to innovation and improving student success through technological advancements.

With AI becoming an integral part of education, Digii’s initiative is a significant step towards building a more efficient and technology-driven educational system in India.
