With a focus on recognising excellence across various categories, the jury engaged in insightful discussions, setting the benchmark for the upcoming awards. Read on to know what our jury members have to say.

With newer technologies, OOH advertising has a bright future

Amit Gujral, Business Leader (Jury Chair)

“It was refreshing to judge the outdoor media innovations done by participating brands. I must say that it was a learning experience for me to be in the jury meet. Outdoor advertising has come a long way. People have been doing outdoor marketing in a traditional way, but, with the advent of newer technologies, I am sure outdoor has a bright future with anamorphic videos and unified QRs, among other newer technologies enhancing the OOH advertising. I send my best wishes to all the participants and hope that the people who win, will continue to do their good job, and the people who have not made to the winners list, get to learn and attract much more innovation in the time to come, and we would be able to celebrate them altogether next time.”

Strategic planning is essential to ensure effectiveness

Ayaaz Khan, Vice President (VP)—Marketing, Max Life Insurance Company

“It has been a great experience to see what’s happening in the world of OOH advertising. While our jury duties primarily focus on digital and above-the-line advertising, it was insightful to explore the developments in the OOH space as well. There is a clear need for brands to invest more strategically in this medium. Outdoor advertising requires thoughtful investment—not just financial, but also strategic. Some campaigns showcased strong and creative thinking, while others felt routine and lacked a clear strategy. Marketers must recognise that just because an OOH ad is placed does not mean it will automatically capture attention. Strategic planning is essential to ensure effectiveness. Overall, this jury experience has been enriching, and I look forward to see OOH advertising evolve with greater creativity, strategic intent and measurable impact.”

The onboarding experience with B2B Market Media | The Founder Media was seamless

Abhishek Misra, Country Head—Brand and Marketing
Narayana Health

“It was a great experience, not just professionally, but also personally. Meeting fellow marketers and gaining insights into their perspectives was truly enriching. The onboarding experience with The Founder Media was seamless. The team was quick in sending out communication, touching base with us regularly, and ensuring we were well-informed and available on time. Everything was well-coordinated, making the entire process smooth and efficient. From a branding perspective, I feel there’s an opportunity to further elevate the competition. While the entries showcased commendable efforts, I had hoped to see more ground-breaking, creative work that would inspire us to push the boundaries of excellence.”

Make your entry stand out with an AV

Archana Aggarwal, Media Head Sheela Foam

“Judging these entries was a great experience. One piece of advice for all participants when submitting their entries is to include an Audio-Video (AV). This makes it much easier for the jury to understand their work. Some entries truly stood out—those were instinctively deserving of gold. I won’t reveal them just yet; let’s save the excitement for the awards night! There were also entries with multiple layers that required deep thinking and a unique twist in execution. So, if you want to win awards, make it easy for the jury to grasp your idea quickly and effectively.”

The length and breadth of the talent was phenomenal

Nitin Dhingra, CTO
Indira IVF Group

“I thank B2B Market Media | The Founder Media for inviting me to the jury meet. It was a great, pleasant and learning experience for me. The length and breadth of the talent that was showcased was phenomenal. To me, all of you are the winners. Keep on doing the hard and smart work. I felt very humbled to be a part of this event and I look forward to see all of you in-person.”

OOH advertising is evolving

Vineet Chugh, Marketing Head Queue Buster

“It was a wonderful experience judging such wonderful nominations and entries across industries. I think it’s very interesting to see the way OOH advertising is shaping up. There was a time when this industry was not doing well, but now there is a great amplification happening on digital media and the outdoor media. That’s why it’s shaping up very well and we are seeing a lot of innovations in OOH advertising. Further, it’s a welcome change to have awards for the OOH advertising industry, which is becoming even more interesting now after digital innovations happening throughout the world. I look forward to be a part of this next year as well. Most of them did a great job. A little suggestion for the participants is that they must be careful about the category they are participating in to win right.”

It’s necessary to focus on clarity, impact and execution

Vishal Pathania, Head—Digital Relaxo Footwear

“The jury session was a fantastic experience. The creativity, strategic thinking and the effort participants have put in into their ideas are worth appreciating. It was inspiring to see their passion and creative approach towards problem-solving. I would like to commend their hard work and dedication. Each presentation showcased unique prospectives, and was truly commendable. However, focussing on clarity, impact and execution strategies would make their concepts even stronger. Overall, the experience was highly engaging and rewarding. It was great to be a part of such dynamic and thought-provoking session.”

Great judging comes from great entries—Clarity and innovation make the difference

Krishnarao Buddha, Industry leader

“The entries were very-well classified; and so was the jury. It helped to give diverse range of thoughts and outputs to help us analyse and judge the entries. I request and urge all the entrants to come up with a nice “all-encompassing” AV, which should include the concept, the innovation, the execution and the scale, along with the results. That will help the jury to evaluate your entries efficiently. The experience was good. I was quite impressed. I thank B2B Market Media | The Founder Media for making me a part of the jury, and I wish you all the very best for all your future events.”

As the curtains close on this edition of the OOH Phoenix Awards, we celebrate not just the winners but the boundless creativity, innovation and strategic excellence that continue to shape the future of OOH advertising. This year’s entries have set new benchmarks, proving that the industry is evolving with dynamic storytelling, digital integration and impactful execution.
