Apna.co has connected 3.5 lakh students with career opportunities through its collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The AICTE Career Portal, a key initiative of this partnership, has enabled access to verified job openings, facilitating over eight lakh applications across over 44,000 companies, including employers like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank and Deloitte.
With 1.6 lakh job openings set for campus recruitment between March and June 2025, the portal ensures a smooth transition from education to employment. It has also helped students to acquire in-demand skills, with technical expertise in Python, Java, C++, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML), cloud computing and cybersecurity topping the list. Communication, teamwork and problem-solving remain the most sought-after soft skills. Industries with the highest job demand include IT services, BFSI, retail, healthcare and logistics.
Nirmit Parikh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Apna.co, emphasised the impact of this initiative, stating that the partnership with AICTE is bridging skill gaps and making employment more accessible.
T G Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, highlighted the importance of industry-academia collaboration in building a future-ready workforce.
Building on this success, Apna.co and AICTE organised CampusInc 2025, an event that brought together industry leaders, academia and policymakers to discuss India’s evolving job market. Panel discussions focussed on AI, automation and hiring strategies for Gen Z, providing key insights into workforce transformation.
With more than 59 million users and 7,00,000 employers, Apna.co continues to redefine job accessibility in India. This partnership marks a step towards creating an inclusive and dynamic employment ecosystem.
